ABOUT US

As an artist duo based in the Berlin area of Germany, we create art experiences in the form of exhibitions, pop-ups, and round table discussions that explore desirable futures. Our speculative art and designs are rooted in existing scientific discoveries, social initiatives, technological innovations, and indigenous knowledge.  We craft fictitious hopeful scenarios in which these sources can possibly exist once fully actualized.

Our game-inspired storytelling, world building and experience design, breaks entry barriers to complex, climate and social impact topics; and builds bridges between society and changemakers.

Realizing our imagined worlds is a shared mission. Thus, we make our sources available so that our audience can get involved in the evolution of our experiences and take their inspirations into reality. Pivotal to our process is also collaborating with cities, corporations, initiatives, and topic experts. Together, we increase the resonance and accessibility of our shared positive and near-future stories.

“I’m a blend of many hybrids: from my creative skillset in sculptural furniture and product design, textile and fashion, to building 3D environments and immersive gamified-art experiences. With this foundation, I’ve sprinkled my aesthetic sensibility born from my multicultural and diasporic roots, to build tantalizing narrative bridges into the scientific, emergent tech, regenerative and speculative worlds. At its nexus, I draw inspiration from nature to unveil new design possibilities around nature reconnection and conservation, equitable futures and heritage preservation – all while navigating the profound trials of our changing climate."

“For nearly a decade, I designed for value-driven design clients around the topics of eco-social impact and science communication. This exposure has positively shaped my outlook towards the future. On the contrary, pop culture and news media are dominated by dystopian cautionary tales. Personally missing the representation of hopeful narratives, I felt impassioned to explore the power of desirable future stories in the art space.”
